ANDRE R.V. SPIGUEL, M.D., earned his medical degree at the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine in 2006 before going on to complete his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Chicago Medical Center. He completed fellowships in Musculoskeletal Oncology and Orthopaedic Trauma at the University of Chicago and Washington University respectively. He joined the Musculoskeletal Oncology team at the University of Florida in 2013 where he is currently an Assistant Professor in the department of orthopaedic surgery and one of four orthopaedic oncologists. Dr. Spiguel’s clinical practice involves the treatment of bone and soft tissue sarcomas of the extremities and pelvis, as well as benign lesions and metastatic disease. He specializes in complex extremity reconstructions for limb salvage surgeries after tumor resection. He also has a dual appointment and is part of the Trauma Division at UF where he helps cover the University’s Level I trauma center.
